TEACHER OF THE YEAR PROGRAM

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is pleased to announce the fifth year of the Teacher of the Year program in select Texas cities. In celebration of National Teacher’s Day this May 2013, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in partnership with Oak Farms/Hygeia/Price’s will recognize three teachers in each of the following greater metropolitan areas: San Antonio, Austin, San Marcos, Laredo and El Paso. Full-time teachers in all private and public schools from grades K-12 are eligible for nomination.
Teachers must be nominated by someone at their school – a student, fellow teacher, parent, or administrator – using the Teacher of the Year Nomination Form. All entries must be submitted and received by April 5, 2013. All nominees entering the final round of consideration will be confirmed via contact with the school principal. All nominees must be currently employed and in good standing with the school listed on the nomination form to be eligible for award consideration.

PRIZES IN EACH CITY WILL BE AWARDED AS FOLLOWS:
•The Teacher of the Year Winner receives $500 plus $500 for their school
•The Teacher of the Year Runner Up receives $250 plus $250 for their school
•The Teacher of the Year Second Runner Up receives $100 plus $100 for their school
